Editorial Policy
Gold is a financial decision, so accuracy comes first. This page explains how we create and maintain the content on DubaiGoldPrice.in.
Who writes our content
Guides and news are written and reviewed by named members of our team, listed below and on our authors page. Each author covers the topics they know best, and every article shows who wrote it and when it was last updated.
Our team
Covers: Gold jewellery, purity and hallmarks, shopping in Dubai
3 articlesCovers: Gold customs rules, Dubai vs India gold prices, UAE VAT and tax
2 articlesHow we research
- Official sources first. Customs, tax and VAT rules are checked against primary sources: Indian Customs (CBIC) notifications and baggage rules, the UAE Federal Tax Authority and the official tourist refund operator, the Bureau of Indian Standards for hallmarking, and the Income Tax Department.
- Live data, not guesses. Prices on our pages come from live market data and our own stored price history. See how we calculate gold rates.
- No invented numbers. Worked examples use clearly labelled illustrative figures or live prices. We don’t publish made-up statistics, quotes or reviews.
Review and updates
Before publishing, articles are checked for accuracy, clarity and up-to-date rules. When regulations change, such as new baggage rules or a change in import duty, we update the affected guides and their “updated” date.
Not financial or legal advice
Our guides explain rules and costs to help you make informed decisions. They are not personal financial, tax or legal advice. For decisions about your own situation, speak to a qualified adviser.
